{ Disposable Camera Tricks }

When it comes to photography many people remember back in the day when you would use a disposable camera. The disposable camera was an ongoing trend in the 90's, but compared to the technology of today it's considered useless. So here are some tips that could just sky rocket the disposable camera back into action.

{1} Smack the extra exposure out of it. To do so here are some helpful tips. {1} Charge your flash, most camera have a button for this. {2} Hold the camera in one hand, and SMACK it down onto the palm of your other hand. {3} The flash will fire and you may get a double exposures, too.

{2} Tie your camera to a bench. This one is more of a social experiment but still a good use of a camera. Just leave a note along side and ask for people to take their own photos with your camera. This can make for a fun collaborative photo project.

{3} Make 3D photos with two disposable cameras. 3D images are made by taking two photos at the same time from two different angles. Tape the camera together at just the right angle, you can make a whole roll of 3D pictures for under $15 bucks. To find out more click here.

{4} Use lens and flash filters for colorful photos. Hold color filters in front of your disposables flash or lens for photos with an extra splash of color.

{5}  Make your own filters. Because disposable camera lenses are so small, its easy to make DIY filters on the cheap. Try using colored marker on packing tape, coloring directly onto your lens using your sunglasses or even a soda bottle. For more information click here.

{6} Make fish eye photos with the phone lenses. Phone lenses are the perfect size for disposable camera.Stick the magnetic ring that comes with the phone lenses to your disposables lens. Then attach the fish eye lens to your disposable anytime you want to take a fish eye like photo.

{7} Damage your film. You can get amazing results from this trick. Try leaving your camera in the freezer , the hottest place you can find or even poking holes in your camera to intentionally cause light leaks. For some examples of this click here.

{8} Damage the lens. You can scratch the lens with steel wool or even sandpaper, You can paint over it with nail polish, or even taking it off anf flipping it around backwards. For some examples of this click here.

{9} Send your camera on a world tour. This is another project idea, pack your camera with some special instructions for mail carriers to take pictures with it along the way. Once you have the camera back develop the results. Click here for an example of this.

{10} Turn your camera into a time capsule. Just snap some pictures of your life now and then get them developed either in the next couple of months or a few years, just make sure you know a place that will develop them down the road.
